As you observed, you’re Facebook Page or Profile URL something goes like this (as for an example only):
http://www.facebook.com/pages/MyPageName/123456789101112
http://www.facebook.com/username

To check whether you are using username or display id number,
1. Login to your Facebook account.
2. Click on your name or profile picture, this will lead you to your facebook profile/wall.
3. See the url bar.

If it’s display like this: http://www.facebook.com/username

Proceed to the next step, otherwise, something like this: http://www.facebook.com/123456789101112 or http://www.facebook.com/pages/MyPageName/123456789101112

Then that display id number is your Facebook ID.

4. As mention before, if it doesn’t display the id number or facebook id,
Replace the www with graph, to demonstrate it would be something like this:

From: http://www.facebook.com/username
Change to: http://graph.facebook.com/username

From there, it will display account information including the Facebook User ID.

Another way:
1. Login to your Facebook account.
2. Click on your name or profile picture, this will lead you to your facebook profile/wall.
3. Right-click on Profile Picture and click Copy Link Address or Copy Link Location.
4. Paste the URL to notepad, your link address should be look like this:

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=621227461256847&set=a.177269512319313.39734.888777665544321&type=1&source=11
