How to stop Windows Shutdown during work mode

Recently, we discuss about the command line Automatic Shutdown via Command Prompt in Windows XP and 7, and we gain knowledge of its usages and how to use it.

But when you need to go back to work or you forgot to save your work. This option or tips might help you to stop the automatic shutdown before it closes all your work or desktop.

1. Click the Window key + R (Start – Run).

2. Then type shutdown.exe /a (Windows 7) and shutdown.exe -a (Windows XP).

The /a or –a is for Abort a system shutdown.
