Samsung Galaxy NX – The First Interchangeable-Lens, 3G/4G LTE & Wi-Fi, and an Android OS Camera (Gallery, Features, Specifications, and Overview)
Do you own a Samsung Galaxy Camera? Or still waiting for Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom to come out on the market?
Relax and seat tight, because if you ever wonder to have an Android Camera with Interchangeable Lens like DSLR, then you should probably like to see and to have this.
GALAXY NX IMAGES / GALAXY NX SPECS AND FEATURES
What’s good about Samsung Galaxy NX over Galaxy Camera? Samsung GALAXY NX can run Android Smartphone and Tablet apps, and also can connect to the Internet thru Cellular Networks or via Wi-Fi. Another thing to add, is the large APS-C sensor with a 20.3MP effective resolution, its sensor larger than the sensor of a Smartphone. Mentioning about the larger or huge sensor, then again, the Galaxy NX has the Display Dimension of 121.2mm (4.8inch) HD TFT LCD SVGA EVF, and the unit Dimension is about 136.5 x 101.2 x 25.7 (37.65) mm, Weights around 410g(without battery) / 495(with standard battery). In which, its more heavier than a regular Android Smartphone, but keep in mind, that this Galaxy NX has a stylish grip to hold on the unit and a regular tripod mount at the bottom.
Speaking of Interchangeable Lenses, the Galaxy NX has various Lenses to keep you accompany whenever you need it, but again, they aren’t cheap rather an expensive lenses. (that’s really something to look forward? Generally, they are more expensive than DSLR lenses). If you ever wonder if this can replace the DSLR camera future (we hoping but unfortunately, that’s not the case), as for the camera function/controls were inside the touch screen controls, while most of the Photographers prefer it outside the box, that they can still felt it with their finger tips. As for the some specs/controls, the Galaxy NX powered by a Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS, 1.6GHz Quad-Core Processor, 16GB Internal memory ＋ microSD slot (up to 64GB), 2.0GB RAM, for this hungry beast there is an equivalent battery capacity of 4,360 mAh. (Moreover, if you used Wi-Fi or/and Cellular Network connectivity, sure this unit packs with a heavy duty capacity of battery life.) Most the physical controls available on the Galaxy NX, were the Power/Lock Key, Shutter keys, mode selector, and button to pop up the Xenon Flash. Everything else is inside the Android Controls/UI.
