How to Install, Uninstall and Manage Applications and Games on Android Smartphones – feat. Alcatel One Touch Glory 918N

– A walkthrough on installation, uninstallation and managed of Applications and Games on Android Phones
(Note: This walkthrough is tested on Alcatel One Touch Glory 918N, used this tutorial on your own risk, I’m not held responsible for any loss or damage it will do.)
There are tons of Applications you can used to uninstall and install Applications and Games on Android Smartphone, but I will narrow it to common usage.
Steps/Instructions on How to Install Apps/Games on Android Phone:
1. You can use Easy Installer (already included/installed on Alcatel OT Glory 918N). To access it, touch/tap the Application Tab, from the Applications touch/tap Easy Installer.
2. You can use it to single or multiple installation of applications or games that you would like to install. Just touch/tap the checkbox on the right, afterwards your selections, touch/tap Install Selected Apps.
3. A confirmation will prompt, if do you want to install this application?, touch/tap Install. Wait until the Installation is finish. Then touch/tap Done. Then test if your apps/games will run.
4. The old method would be the File Manager. To access it, touch/tap the Application Tab, from the Applications touch/tap File Manager.
(Note: For some reasons, some Android Smartphones doesn’t have File Manager, you have to get an installer app for File Manager, perhaps available on Google Play, I will discuss this soon).
5. From there, browse on the folder were your apps/games are located. Then select an app you would like to install, touch/tap on it. A confirmation will prompt, if do you want to install this application?, touch/tap Install. Wait until the Installation is finish. Then touch/tap Done. Then test if your apps/games will run.
Steps/Instructions on How to Uninstall Apps/Games on Android Phone:
1. You can use APP 2 SD to uninstall apps/games. To access it, touch/tap the Application Tab, from the Applications touch/tap APP 2 SD.
(Note: You have to get an installer app for APP 2 SD, available on Google Play, I will discuss this soon).
2. From there, you can also manage apps/games, to locate the apps/games that you want to uninstall, touch/tap On SD card or Phone Only. Then as you can see the app/game you want to uninstall, Hold-Touch/Tap the selected app/game, until you will see an Options like Uninstall/Details.
3. Touch/tap Uninstall/Details, then from there, touch/tap Uninstall. A confirmation will prompt, Uninstall application?, touch/tap Ok. Wait until the Uninstallation is finish. Afterwards touch/tap Ok.
4. Other method (I think much quicker, in my opinion), touch/tap the Application Tab, from the Applications touch/tap Settings.
5. From there, touch/tap Applications, and then touch/tap Manage Applications. From there, locate the apps/games that you want to uninstall, touch/tap Downloaded, All or On SD Card. Then as you can see the app/game you want to uninstall, Touch/Tap the selected app/game.
6. Then touch/tap Uninstall. A confirmation will prompt, Uninstall application?, touch/tap Ok. Wait until the Uninstallation is finish. Afterwards touch/tap Ok.
To manage the games/applications: go to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications. From here you can uninstall, move, clear data and force stop the application.
Basic Requirements to Download / Install Apps:
Android Smartphone (please see compatibility first)
Internet Connection (thru WIFI or 3G)
Web Browser / Google Play Store / Android Market App

when i downloaded some games on playstore.. like “Barbie queen” after i installed, doesnt work because i have to download first a flashplayer, but when i downloaded it.. still have a problem bcoz the flash player V.11.1. was not compatible to my alcatel OT-918N .. ?? can you help me on my problem.. what version of adobe flash player do you think will work on my phone?? what version of flash player??? plzz help me guyzzz T_T
