Bagyong Quiel – Typhoon Quiel gets nearer into Philippine Territory

After the Bagyong Pedring or Typhoon Pedring, and now here is the Typhoon “Quiel” is coming to town and threatens northern part of Luzon, Philippines. This is based on the report by PAGASA, and right now, the tropical storm “Quiel” intensify into typhoon and heading towards three areas in northern Luzon.
The three areas as the PAGASA said are, Cagayan, Isabela, and Babuyan Group of Islands which is now are in Signal No. 1 as Quiel moves closer to the Northern Luzon. The typhoon Queil has packing winds of 130 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gustiness up to 145 – 160 kph.
The storm or rather the typhoon was forecast to move west at 13 – 22 kph. The PAGASA officer-in-charge and (DOST) Graciano Yumul said on the radio, that the typhoon may expected to hit on Cagayan within Saturday(afternoon or night) and later on the other parts on Sunday (morning),
PAGASA – Yumul said that Quiel has a 15 to 25 millimeters per hour of rainfall at its expected within the diameter of 300-400 kilometers of the storm, and it will increase it’s size as long as it remains over the water.
Hoping up, that, it is not damaging as Pedring and may the God bless us all and safety of our families, homes and live stocks.
