Android Games Review featuring Alcatel One Touch Glory 918N

Recently, I post my personal review about Moboplayer using ALCATEL ONE TOUCH GLORY 918N which is indeed fascinate me on how it response on the video I played.
Since I run some test about Video player, I think it is time to make some list of Android Games which works out on Alcatel One Touch Glory 918N.
(Note: Some or most Android Games with HD quality can or cannot be played on Alcatel One Touch Glory 918N)

Not currently running due to hardware/system issue:
Temple Run – I tried other versions and other people advise, but all in effort, it doesn’t go forth on the gameplay. (well at least the game launches on the loading screen, but sadly it doesn’t work out)
Plants vs Zombie – an epic game, which it in all effort it doesn’t go forth on the gameplay (same as the Temple Run issue)
Zuma HD – same reason as above.
I’ll be adding some more games soon… (Both can run smooth and not currently working. So stick around. :D)

For installation/delete: You can used Easy Installer or File Manager to install/delete the games/applications.
To manage the games/applications: go to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications. From here you can uninstall, move, clear data and force stop the application.
Basic Requirements to Download / Install Android Games:
Android Smartphone (please see compatibility first)
Internet Connection (thru WIFI or 3G)
Web Browser / Google Play Store / Android Market App

so there’s no way i can play plants vs zombie???
trying to resolve the issue, but so far, i haven’t yet found the solution.

TRY TO DOWNLOAD GO LUNCHER EX THEN FIND IT IN SETTINGS , AS I REMEMBER TRY TO SHAKE YOUR PHONE THEN IT AUTOMATICALLY CAPTURE THE SCREEN OF YOUR PHONE
plants vs zombies cant lunch at alctel. i even tried it but it doesnt work.
try final fantasy III, raging thunder II, destinia, worm, illusia 2, ninja saga. battle loot adventure, nba jam (not HD). then my boy(a gameboy emulator)= you can run any gba games if you use this emulator … for now im trying to run psxe emulator to play playstation games …

hi. i m comparing this with a samsung galaxy pocket which costs 5699. which do you think is better? i thought the alcatel will already be able to play temple run. how about the samsung? can it do it?
ronald, i haven’t yet test the galaxy pocket, in my belief, it has to do with the gpu… 🙂 but so far, i try temple run at alcatel 918n, it didn’t work out… i have a friend who has little higher specs of Android Phone, it successfully launch the temple run… i haven’t yet tried other methods, like rooting, maybe from there, i’ll able to find solution to launch the temple run at alcatel 918n.

try installing adobe air , then flash plugin for you to run flash games.. 🙂
I installed Mobo Player Pro V5 but when I was playing the video, there was delay on the movement and the sounds keep on playing. Please help me resolve the issue

what video codec or file type your playing? (mpeg, avi, mp4…) try not to play HD quality or used soft decoding. just hold-tap the selected video then select soft decoding. 😀
I will try this. How about on the bluetooth device, sometimes when we are transferring files it disconnects and the phone restarts. Also, I’m unable to pair it with my laptop. Do I need a to install a specific application for this?
no need. check the pairing and also both unit. and also make sure to disable the bluetooth timeout. 😀
Is it normal that the unit restarts when file transfer is finished?
when the unit is in bluetooth transfer or to microUSB cable? hmm… what kind of file is it? I think in regular occasions of file transfer it shouldn’t be restarts.

hi, i recently got an Alcatel 918n glory from sun cellular and i wanted to know what’s the problem because im not able to detect my blackberry tour bluetooth. i tried searching for device vice versa but none of my phone was able to detect the bluetooth. hELF pls!
disable the timeout on the bluetooth sometimes this cause the undetect bluetooth device and also make it discoverable. 😀

for our opinion we got few lags on apps that we install. for some reasons, after we update it, it response smoothly.

you can go into contacts and select the contact click the menu button and select ‘edit contact’ .

it can but sluggish and you need to root it to install supercharge.
hi, i really need your help coz this is my first alcatel phone and i’ve notice that when i press the appdrawer, the vertical line on the right side that shows the settings, apps,folders disappear , how can i get it back ?

when i press “home” may mag a-appeare na “complete action using : application list, go launcher ex, go locker.” hindi naman to ganito dati, ngayon lang ,,coz when i press “home” agad2 siyang pupunta sa home.
double-tap or hold tap can launch other options. maybe try single tap.

https://play.google.com/store – google play store. there are paid and non-paid downloadable apps.
Can I download Alcatel OT Glory 918n themes and music thru Personal computer?
it depends, if you going to download it via Google Play Store then you should have used your Android Smartphone. Otherwise, via APK downloadable files on the internet, you can store it on your computer then put it on your Android Smartphone SD memory card.

I brought alcatel 918, rooted it and deleted some bloatwares like gmail, email, etc and now i am unable to send messages. what to do? will one touch upgrade solve my problem. plz reply fast.
since you rooted the phone, and we dont know what other particular apps you removed. we suggest first to return it to factory default settings. then from there, you can try removing some apps that you dont need. but be careful on removing it, try to remove the apps one by one, for example remove gmail then try to send a message, then the other one. in that way, you can assure what particular app that you dont need to delete.

running temple run for alcatel glory 918n? we havent yet found good and smooth method for this unit. we suspect its already on the specs of the phone because its a basic entry level of phone.

hi, i would like to ask for some reason on how to install any android apps using my desktop going to my phone hardwired? because i did installing some apps using my gmail account but the apps dont seems to appear on my phone installed already…
there are sites have an offered android games in apk files. there to download on their official site then transfer it on your phone via USB Cable (PC-Phone).
i have a problem ,,whenever i play an app and im in the game,, later while player my mobile will go at some loading screen and resumes the game, I play online games on android and that loading screen problem will knock me out of the game and put me to the title screen and i need to start again. how can i fix it?
