Tropical Depression “RAMON” gets nearer into Philippine Area

After the Bagyong Pedring or Bagyong Quiel, and now the Tropical Depression “Ramon” move closer and increases its threat to Eastern Visayas and Northeastern Mindanao. This is based on the report by PAGASA, as of 5:00 am, Tuesday – October 11, 2011.

The location center of the Tropical Depression “Ramon”, as of 4:00am is 360 km East Southeast of Hinatuan, Surigao Del Sur, Coordinates – 7.7°N, 129.7°E, has maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour (kph), and the movement forecast goes to West Northwest at 17 kph.

The Tropical Depression “Ramon”, has forecast positions possibly at the following report;

Wednesday morning: 100 km Northeast of Hinatuan, Surigao Del Sur

Thursday morning: 90 km North of Cebu City

Friday morning: 70 km North of San Jose, Occidental Mindoro.

Signal No.1 are up on the following areas: Eastern Samar, Western Samar, Leyte Provinces, Bohol, Biliran, Camotes Island, Surigao Del Norte, Siargao Island, Surigao Del Sur, Agusan, Del Norte, Dinagat Group of Islands, Camiguin Island

PAGASA – said that Tropical Depression Ramon has a 5 to 25 millimeters(mm) per hour (moderate to heavy) of rainfall at its expected within the diameter of 300 kilometers(km).
