tiff, png, or camera raw image file cannot opened on Photoshop

An unexpected error occurred on certain images extensions like. tiff, .png, or camera raw image files.

I thought it was a corrupted file, but I managed to quickly resolve it by the installing XnView software (an image viewer software) and by updating Photoshop camera raw plug-in.

(On Windows XP and 7 I had similar problems while opening or by just viewing a .tiff and .png image extension files, I cannot see it or open it.)
My problem resolve on a quick browsing of tiff files, by download XnView Standard Version and I also install XnView Shell Extension Setup for Windows Explorer.

Another solution when you need it to open on Adobe Photoshop is by updating its Camera Raw Plug-In, go to their official website about Camera Raw update – Windows click here. / Camera Raw update – Mac click here.

I hope this simple tip helps you out! Cheers! 😀

(Note: Adobe – Photoshop and XnView Logo/Images/Pictures has a respective copyright. I used it for demonstration purpose only.)
