Windows Server 2003 Service Pack resolves issue on the system

Windows Server 2003 Service Pack Install and Update helps to fix errors in the Server system
by: Revengsky Joseph D. Reyes (a.k.a rjdreyes – jcyberinux.com)

After I install a Windows Server 2003, I think there’s still glitch in the system. File transfer protocol or internet connectivity doesn’t give the exact bandwidth or speed I need. That’s one of my observations on the server. Hot fixes or updates of Service Packs help to recover or fix errors / glitches in the system.

As my observation on Windows XP, I think it is the same cases happens, so I applied to update the system to Service Pack 2.

Here’s the download list of Service Pack for Windows Server 2003:

Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 (32 bit) – Microsoft Download Center Official Site
Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2 (32 bit) – Microsoft Download Center Official Site

I applied all the Service Pack I start to install Service Pack 1 then Service Pack 2.

1. Download all the Service Pack of Windows Server 2003. Click the link in the download list section.

2. Applied update or install the Service Pack 1 first. After the installation, it will ask for reboot. Then reboot your system, for the changes it will make in the system.

3. Applied update or install the Service Pack 2. After the installation, it will ask for reboot. Then reboot your system, (Service Pack 2 in my opinion have a greater effect on the changes in the system including the internet connectivity and bandwidth).

I hope this little information gave you a lot of understanding in your computer system. The key on maintaining a good system or well running system is observation. Cheers!

Links below are the key that solve my other problems in the system. It may help in the future.
