By: Revengsky Joseph D. Reyes (a.k.a rjdreyes – jcyberinux.com)

An unexpected error occurred on Adobe Photoshop while I try to open an image file; “Could not complete your request because of a program error”

Here’s the solution to the problem:

1. Launch or Open the Adobe Photoshop, then quickly hold press the 3 keys (CTRL+ALT+SHIFT Buttons).

2. As the Photoshop Loads, it will prompt a dialog box asking you if would like to “Delete the Photoshop Settings File?” from here, click Yes.

3. It will successfully load the Photoshop, reload or input your previous settings (if you have one) then exit the Photoshop. Restart your computer for best results.

4. Then Launch or Open the Adobe Photoshop. You should able to start without any errors.

If the refreshing of Adobe Photoshop preferences doesn’t resolve the issue, then try this:

How to import and export Adobe Photoshop Actions – Save and Load Actions -(7,CS2,CS3,CS4,CS5,CS6,CS7)

Saving and Loading Adobe Photoshop Actions is an easy task without any technical how-tos. By the way I’m using Adobe Photoshop CS2, (X_X) sorry for that, I don’t have a budget to buy a latest copy of Adobe Photoshop.

The approach might be different from the other version, but I think this tip/guide might help you, if you are using different version (Photoshop earlier or latest).

HOW TO LOAD/IMPORT ADOBE PHOTOSHOP ACTIONS:

1. Toggle the view for Actions, click to Window menu, and then Actions. (or Press ALT+F9)
Save and Load Photoshop Actions

2. Click the Actions tab, did you see the little arrow on the upper right side?
Save and Load Photoshop Actions
Click it, then click Load Actions
Save and Load Photoshop Actions

3. Browse on the folder location of your actions, then choose it, then click Load.
Save and Load Photoshop Actions

Now you have successfully loaded the Photoshop action.

HOW TO SAVE/EXPORT ADOBE PHOTOSHOP ACTIONS:
