SUPER – A Multimedia Player and Superb Video/Audio Converter

I came across to the web to find a free transcode or video/audio converter for Windows. Luckily on searching, I find SUPER.

A Free Video/Audio Converter solution for Microsoft Windows 98SE, Me, 2000, XP, 2003, Vista or Windows 7, Windows 2008. It is small (only 39MB) but yet power package features, easy to use applications, good to interface, plus it has right video/audio converter to play your favorite movies and media streams.

Supported files and devices

SUPER © supports the following formats as input source file:

Input Image Sequence: bmp, jpg, pgm, png, ppm, sgi, tga
(with sequentially numbered-ONLY filenames) having the same filename numbered-ONLY format. Example: 0001.jpg –up to–> 0999.jpg

Note: that this format will NOT work name_0001.jpg –up to–> name_0999.jpg (take out name_)

Input Video format: 3gp/3g2, amv, asf, avi, dat, dvr-ms, flc, fli, flv, m2ts, mkv, mov, mpg, mtv,
m4v, mp4, nsv, ogg, ogm, qt, ram, rm(vb), str, swf, tmf, trp, ts, ty(+), viv, vob, webm, wmv, wtv..

Input Audio format: aac, ac3, amr, ape, flac, mmf, m4a, mp2, mp3, mpc, ogg, ra, shn, tta, vqf, wav, wma, wv..

Input AviSynth Script Files: avs. To write a script and specify advanced encoding commands
using AviSynth scripts!

Any supported input Multimedia file format shown above, may be encoded to one of the 5 following Groups of Output Containers available with the SUPER ©

Drag & drop any Audio file or even any Video/Audio file and EXTRACT the Audio part by converting it to:

Convert jpg, pgm, png, ppm sequentially numbered filename images to any other format.
jpg, pgm, png, ppm input image files must have the same filename numbered format. Example: 0001.jpg –up to–> 0999.jpg

System Requirement:

(Note: SUPER © v2011.build.49 (July 1st, 2011) is NOT suitable to run in a Windows emulator environment like VirtualBox, WINE or any alike.)

Microsoft Windows 98SE, Windows Me, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 2008.

Full admin credentials within an admin session (for NTkernel OS). (Vista users, RightClick and ‘Run as… Administrator’)

Minimum 1800 MHz Intel® Pentium4® or equivalent. At least 512MB installed and 176MB available.

Microsoft DirectX 9.0c, Some videos may require the newest version of DirectX or Windows Media Player. 1024 x 768 or larger, otherwise the GUI will Auto-Switch to a smaller display mode. 32,000-color video or more. MSIE 5.01 or later.

Free Disk Space on the Hard disk where the OS is installed: 20GB or more.
