Starmobile announced their release of octa-core Diamond X1 (last month) and same goes to Cherry Mobile – Cosmos Z2 (this month), now the real question is which phone is most favoured or overall dominant? Let’s find out in the specs comparison chart.

Judging from the specs comparison chart:
DISPLAY: it look like the Diamond X1 has the better screen size (6-inch) than Cosmos Z2 with only 5-inch, but in terms of resolutions, Cosmos Z2 has edge in here (Full HD, 1920×1080, 440 ppi) than Diamond X1. Both have their respective display glass protection. (For Size: Diamond X1 / For Resolution: Cosmos Z2).
CPU / GPU / RAM: They are both equal in specs.
STORAGE: Cosmos Z2 win in this category, while they both expandable up to 64GB, Cosmos Z2 has an internal storage of 16GB than Diamond X1 (which has only 8GB).
NETWORK /SIM /GPS: They are both equal in specs.
CONNECTIVITY: Cosmos Z2 comes with USB-OTG Support.
MULTIMEDIA: Diamond X1 has Dual Yamaha 1420 speakers (better sound quality) which bundled in the handset.
CAMERA: They are both equal in specs.
DIMENSION: Diamond X1 is thinner (with 7 mm) compared to Cosmos Z2 (7.59 mm)
BATTERY: Diamond X1 has larger battery pack (2,300 mAh) while Cosmos Z2 (2,000 mAh). We still undecided who will get the point, because the Diamond X1 has a larger display screen but with lower resolution while Cosmos Z2 has smaller display screen but with higher resolution.
PRICE: Diamond X1 price (Php 13,990) is higher compared to Cosmos Z2 (Php 12,999), for only 1K difference.
BOTTOM LINE: We are still undecided which is best or has better performance, because both mobile phones have its cons and pros. Anyway, we can get a better picture once we both got a review on them.
