Sony’s Core and SmartBand unveiled at CES 2014, the new additional product line, a life-logging accessory with notification alert and music remote. It is a SmartWear that keeps track of everything you do (movements, communications, and entertainment) whenever you go.
The SmartBand is a 24/7 wearable device. Choose from a range of vibrant colours and styles and switch them daily to match your mood. An iconic metal Sony fastening button and LEDs give it a premium look and feel. The SmartBand incorporates a removable core unit and a stylish and comfortable wrist band.
The SmartBand, Smartphone and Lifelog app
SmartBand is in constant contact with your smartphone via Bluetooth®. A vibrating alert lets you know if a call, message or other notification comes in. When you’re enjoying your music on the move you can play, pause and skip tracks using the SmartBand. Connecting is easy using NFC or a standard Bluetooth® connecting procedure. Even when you’re out of range of your smartphone, this wearable technology saves information about what you do and automatically passes it on when you re-connect.
