Small but powerful, Sony announced their new Smartphone last month at CES 2014, the Xperia Z1 Compact. The Xperia Z1 Compact has a similar form factor to Xperia ZR but a little smaller and it has some premium features and performance of Xperia Z1.

However, in reduce of size, Sony Xperia Z1 Compact drop its display resolution offering 720p and 342ppi. The battery is also compromise to 2,300 mAh versus 3,000 mAh of Xperia Z1. The Xperia Z1 Compact is thicker (at 9.5mm) than Xperia Z1 (at 8.5mm). This may be due to the compress components and to the production part of the Xperia Z1 Compact.
The Xperia Z1 Compact runs in Android OS 4.3 (Jelly Bean) and upgradable to KitKat (4.4) once the upgrade is officially release.
Announced: January 2014 / Expected Release: Xperia Z1 Compact already released in selected countries and coming its way to Philippines (we don’t have the exact details on its release).
Price ranges: In AMAZON Online Store, cheapest price is around $689.99.

its okay to have that kind of specs, its due to the production part of the xperia z1 compact. just imagine how hard to put it into a small box.
