Sony unveiled their latest gadgets including their new Xperia Z2 at MWC 2014 (Feb. 24, 2014). One of the gadgets introduced is the new audio accessory – Sony Stereo Microphone STM10.
It is compatible to Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z2 Tablet (and also for Android smartphone with 3.5mm 5-pole audio input/output). As they mentioned in their blog, it is a compact microphone that can capture high quality stereo audio recording, a perfect match for Xperia Z2’s 4K video recording.
The STM10 is built-in Aluminium high sensitivity stereo condenser microphone, and enables you to tilt it to 90° to point it to the main sound source for best results of the audio recording. That sounds great for such event or occasion like party video clips, band music video clips or for your family video clips.
