How to setup or change and use custom domain name in your Blogger (such as yourdomain.blogspot.com to yourdomain.com top level domain name)
by: RJDREYES

(Note : By doing this, I expected you have an internet connection and your own blogger account)

REQUIREMENTS:
You can use custom domain name aside from Blogger Account offer to you. If you would like to use other than yourdomain.blogspot.com, such as top level domain name (e.g. yourdomain.com) or other domain names, then this guide might help you to achieve it.

* There are domain registrar companies offer custom domain name, but of course, you need to pay for its services. Usually around $12 or 500 pesos for the custom domain name for 1 year contract. Go ask first about the services they cater on their domain name, they must allow you to setup some settings like DNS, CNAME, and A records.

If you already purchase your own custom domain name, it’s time to use it.

1. Login to your Blogger Account, to your Dashboard, and then click Settings drop down menu, then click Basic. You will see the Blog Address on the Publishing Section, from there you have an option to Add a custom domain name.

2. After you input your custom domain name, you may encounter an error message, don’t worry about that just proceed and take note the generated CNAMEs that blogger/google provides on your account.

(You can also use A records, just check the blogger instructions about how to do it, but practically it does the same thing.)

6. If you already succeed to used the custom domain name, check/enable redirect yourdomain.com to www.yourdomain.com. In this way, if someone tries to visit your website without (www), it will resolve and redirect to your www.yourdomain.com.
