Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 P3100 Specifications and Review
by: Alodia Phan – jcyberinux.com
This is a GSM Tablet device, supports call and text functionality (voice communication, SMS and MMS)
Technical Review: Like iPad or iPad 2, Compact, Slim and Portable Tablet, but not just ordinary tablet, it has GSM support for both text and call communication.
– With 8, 16 or 32 GB internal memory (ROM), 1GB RAM, plus 1 Ghz Dual Core processor, for extensive usage of applications and multitasking needs.
– With the Latest Android OS 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, it feels new and more compatibility on platform.
– 7.0 inch PLS LCD capacitive touchscreen, perfectly form for single hand, equip with multimedia functionalities. Very impressive display and vivid the colors.
– up to 32 GB microSD expandable memory slot. Store all sorts of files or multimedia files you want. SIM slot for the Mobile(GSM) network.
– 3.15 Megapixel camera at the back and VGA Camera at the front, perfect taking ordinary photos and videos shots. The only thing that worries me is the VGA Camera mode on the front while the former Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a 2MP Front Camera.
– More robust wireless technology HSPA+21Mbps and Wifi ready bonding channel, for faster and achieve higher download rates. The results may vary depending on GSM/Wifi Connection. It has Bluetooth v3.0 and Infrared Port, it has all you need for wireless communication and data transfer.
– It has stereo loudspeaker (built-in speaker) and 3.5 mm jack for listening music and other multimedia stuff. Microphone for voice recording/communication of the device (call communication and audio recording). It uses 30 pin dock connector via USB 2.0 host support for data/file transfer and USB charger adapter for battery charging of the device.
– Video Quality and Web Surfing is superb, richer with compatible flash support and video codecs. HD compatible.
– Impressive Battery Life.
General Impression: I don’t want to say this, but this model becomes obsolete, because the Samsung Galaxy 7.0 Plus (P6200), has more extensive specs rather than this model (P3100). On the other hand, the P3100 offers the Android OS 4.0 ICS and more vivid interface than P6200. Their difference seems less, actually I prefer to buy an old model P6200. Well, that’s only my opinion. 🙂
