The Philippine Comedy King Rodolfo Vera Quizon, Sr. a.k.a “Dolphy” is dead
The Philippine Comedy King Rodolfo Vera Quizon, Sr. or also known as “Dolphy” passed away at Makati Medical Center (MMC) at 8:43 pm., yesterday (July 10, 2012).
Due to his previous illnesses such as COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) and recently hospitalized in early July because of his recurring pneumonia.
He lived with colorful life, share his talents, inspiration, love and laughter to us.
He was 83 and about to turn 84 on July 25, this month.
A simple man who has dedication, passion and great contribution on Philippine entertainment industry. Truly a Filipino Artist to be proud of! We were going to miss you, your jokes and funny moments you shared on us. We love you our Comedy King “Dolphy”.
Condolence to the family and our prayers is with them. May He Rest in Peace.
