MyPhone unveiled its Tierra MyPad 3, the successor of MyPad 2, the CloudFone claimed the first local Intel-powered tablet CloudPad 800w and the Starmobile announced their release of Intel based Tablet – ENGAGE 9i.

Judging from the specs comparison chart:
DISPLAY: MyPad 3 has larger screen display (10.1-inch), than CloudPad 800w which has only 7.85-inch, and Engage 9i (8.9-inch). But in terms of resolutions, Engage 9i has edge in here (IPS HD / 1920×1,200 / 254 ppi) than MyPad 3 and CloudPad 800w. For Resolution: Engage 9i / For Screen Size: MyPad 3
CPU / GPU / RAM:
MyPad 3 has a Quad-core processor with PowerVR SGX544MP on its GPU, and 1GB of RAM, it’s a complete package for mid-entry level of tablet, powering those multitasking needs and some HD game apps.
On the otherhand, the CloudPad 800w introducing its dual-core Intel Atom powered tablet with PowerVR SGX544MP2 on its GPU and 1GB of RAM, can match up its competitor on multasking needs and HD game apps.
The Engage 9i is practically the same on CloudPad 800w in terms of CPU and GPU specs. The wonderful thing about the Engage 9i, is the boosts of RAM to 2GB, which is important on handling apps into the memory and better responsiveness. For CPU / GPU / RAM Overall: Engage 9i
STORAGE: MyPad 3 has 8GB internal storage (nowadays, it’s an entry level of storage, maybe it’s a part of production cost/budget). CloudPad 800w has the impressive internal storage with 32GB, that you can pile up a lot of videos/music/files/photos or even apps. CAMERA: MyPad 3 wins in overall capabilities with LED Flash.
BATTERY: MyPad 3 has a larger battery capacity (Li-Ion 7,000 mAh), due to its larger display screen, 3G/GSM capabilities. Meanwhile, the CloudPad 800w has a cut short on its battery capacity (Li-Po 4,600 mAh) they may still fired it up to 5,000 mAh but we guess it’s a part of production cost/budget. Engage 9i has the whopping (Li-Ion 6,500 mAh) battery capacity almost (500mAh) difference on MyPad 3, which a very impressive move by Starmobile. For Battery: Engage 9i
PRICE: MyPad 3 price (Php 12,888) is higher compared to CloudPad 800w (Php 8,999) and Engage 9i (Php 9,990).
BOTTOM LINE: MyPad 3 has the full bucket of both worlds (text, call, and multimedia) while we haven’t review how good and responsive it is, in terms of games and apps. CloudPad 800w has outstanding internal storage with slick specs and features although our worried is the battery capacity of it. While Engage 9i is the most impressive in terms of dealing in responsiveness and multitasking, it has enough room for storage and with good battery capacity. While the price tags of CloudPad 800w and Engage 9i differs for almost 1K, it is either you can save the 1K or go big time in spending 1K. The MyPad 3 price tag is expensive, due to its capabilities and if you are hunger of larger screen with text and call functionality, you should prepare for its budget.

guys maganda naman tong starmobile engage 9i kesa sa cloudpad 800w. @ara yung sa battery depende sa pag-gamit mo talaga. somtimess it took 2-3 days for me. 1 day if you are heavy user.
mukhang maraming engage 9i dito haha… cloudpad 800w ako, nabili ko na e. before pa lumabas engage 9i. so far ok naman tong cloudpad 800w.
gusto ko pong bumili ng Starmobile Engage 9i, e curious lang po ako with regards to wifi connectivity po nya, madali ba xang mag connect? I mean, kasing sensitive ba ang wifi connectivity nya sa ipad? want to be clarified with this issue before ako bibili. salamat po.
