Steps how to install/used Framaroot:

1. Go to the official xda forum site [ROOT] Framaroot (click here) and then Download the latest attached file.

2. Using your Android device, install the application (apk), it may prompt you a dialog like (Complete action using – Package installer or Verify and install, just select Package installer)

3. After the installation, launch the Framaroot app, select an action to execute after root, Install SuperSU. Select an exploit in list above to potentially root your device.

4. Tap the selected exploit, then from there a message will be shown that you’re Android device successfully rooted.

How do you know if your phone/tablet is already rooted? Check if your device has a Superuser/SuperSU app in application list. And also install a Root Checker, which is a free Android app/apk on Google Play Store.
