Using Security Wipe to Delete All Data and Set to Factory Defaults of BlackBerry Torch 9800

If you want to know how to delete all the data, such as important emails, contacts, installed applications, delete data on your media card and etc. for such a security reason, or you just want to wipe it clean, before you give it to your younger sister or brother 😀

Then this guide might help you to properly done the deletion of the data on your BlackBerry Torch 9800.

1. Press the Blackberry Logo then all the apps are there, then select Options App.

2. From there, select Security.

3. Select Security Wipe.

4. Check the things you need to delete or wipe out such as:

Emails, Contacts, User Installed Applications, Media Card, etc…

 

5. After you check it, at Confirmation type “blackberry” then press Wipe Data.

(Note: This might take a few minutes to wipe/date all the data on your BB Torch 9800)
