Yesterday, i’m using my Bootable USB Windows 7 Installer and suddenly, It doesn’t boot up . I know it was working, because last time I tried that, and it works.
Then I try my Ubuntu USB Installer Stick, and doesn’t work on the same USB controller slot. Then I change to another USB controller slot, and it works. I tried my Bootable USB Windows 7 Installer and suddenly works on the other USB Controller slot.
My point of view was, first the USB Controller maybe damage and there are other issues involved in the drivers. Better to check the USB slot, apparently, I discovered it was a USB 3.0 Controller slot. Then then the other one was USB 2.0 Controlller slot.
I begin to search on USB 3.0 cannot boot and it droves me to USB 3.0 Chipset not yet bootable, and USB 3.0 Controller is not bootable. Similar results like in this website http://wiki.digitus.de/en/USB.
USB 2.0 Controller(can boot my bootable usb installers.)
USB 3.0 Controlller is not bootable at the moment.
Note : There are differences between using USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 (see the pictures, the USB 2.0 mark as black color, while USB 3.0 mark as a blue color)
I Hope this helps you out! 🙂
