Since Android have a built-in Linux command line shell, you can play with command-line utilities and other stuff you want to modify, by using Android Terminal Emulator.
What is Android Terminal Emulator / Features? It is a command line shell emulator /application for Android Devices, which you can use to type Linux built-in commands (in order to add commands, modify or make changes on current settings).
This app isn’t a game emulator. This app won’t help you root your phone or change your phone’s IMIE. You need to know (or be willing to learn) how to use Linux command line to use this app. You may want to install a set of command line utilities like “Busy Box” in order to add commands beyond the commands that come built into your Android device. Android Terminal Emulator is an open source project.
Review: It’s a free android application for root and advanced users only! Especially, for users who has an experience handling Linux command line. This would better help you to add/modify commands to your Android Devices, delete unnecessary system apps. Access files and modify by using command line utilities such as Busybox which comes from after you root your Android Devices.
Cheers! We hope this tip helps you out! 😀
(Note: Tested on Samsung Galaxy SII, Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V, and Sony Xperia Sola, it may work also on other Sony Xperia and Android Smartphones, but still I’m not sure about it. Just see for yourself, if you own one.)
