Great news for Xperia Z family users! I received an official newsletter from Sony about the availability of software update (v. 14.5.A.0.242) or the Android 5.0 Lollipop that we are all waiting for.

What included in the software updates?
– Sony’s latest software experience, with Android 5.0 – Lollipop
– A fresh look and feel, based on Google Material Design
– Intelligent lock screen notifications and customisable settings
– Multi-user profiles and guest mode
– Storage optimisation; move apps to SD card

Without wasting a time, I give it a spin to have the latest software updates on my Xperia Z1 Compact. You may backup your files/data on your phone before proceed the process. I update my device using a computer via Sony PC Companion.
